Ocean Memory Necklace | Inspired by quiet moments by the shore, where sky and water meet
This necklace was inspired by a quiet day by the water in San Francisco — watching my boys sit along the shore, completely mesmerized by the boats moving back and forth across the bay. Simple, slow, and one of those moments I know I’ll always hold onto.
Materials:
I chose AA-grade aquamarine for its translucent glow and cool ocean tones,
paired with lapis and Hubei turquoise to bring in the depth and richness of the sea.
Sterling Silver Findings: It’s a longer piece (18” + extender) that layers beautifully, but I’ve also been reaching for it on its own — easy, calming, and meaningful for everyday wear.
Stone Meanings:
Aquamarine: calm, clarity, and flow
Turquoise: protection, balance, and strength
Lapis: truth, wisdom, and depth
Dimensions: 18 inches with a 2-inch extender chain
